On 4 September 2025, Anne Schülke will present a performance at the Senior Citizens’ Centre in Ratingen-West.

For this, she is producing a music piece in collaboration with Detlef Klepsch: a mix of voice and software synthesiser composition. The voice delivers a manifesto-like text that Anne Schülke has previously shared publicly in Ratingen-West, Florence, and Seoul. It calls on the audience to reconsider the past and transform the present for a different future. Visitors can walk around the basketball court behind the Senior Citizens’ Centre with wireless headphones and engage with the piece while moving.

The event is held in collaboration with VHS Ratingen and the City Archive of Ratingen, in partnership with the city’s Senior Citizens’ Centre and Youth Club in Ratingen-West, and is financially supported by the Culture and Social Foundation of Provinzial Rheinland and the InfRaWest Fund.
